BRIEF HISTORY OF CONTAINER CONSTRUCTIONS I

In 1801, Dr. Anderson from the UK had already proposed the concept of container transportation. Until the beginning of the 19th century, the container was actually used as a means  of transportation on the British railway.

In 1933, the first international container transport agency, named the International Container Transport Authority, was established in Paris, France. Uniform is responsible for researching and developing container standards, and coordinating container transportation between countries. It marks the maturity of container land transportation.

In 1956, the first container ship, Ideal-X, was completed and commissioned by the US Transatlantic Shipping Company with a tanker, opening the era of container-sea combined transport.

In 1983, American john M. DiMartino proposed a modular container construction system and applied for related patents. The design concept of box-type buildings was combined with the problem of reuse of unused containers, and container construction began to enter the public eye.

During the 1991 Gulf War, container buildings were used for the first time on a large scale, mainly for transporting prisoners of war and serving as temporary military buildings.
Over the past 20 years, the development and application of container buildings have begun to take shape all over the world.
